?? out of 200

I seen that only 200 of the mALX R1 were made? Did I read that correctly? How do you find out which one out of the 200 do I have?

Hi @John Bec   you are thinking of the limited edition Alienware Aurora mALX. These systems were plagued with various failures ranging from motherboards to the most common video card failures. Your Aurora mALX images appear to be of the standard Alienware Aurora mALX.

Here are a few images of the limited edition Alienware Aurora mALX

Yeah, mine doesnt have the ALX symbol on it so I must have a regular model. And also I got my power adapter and mine powered up without any issues. So I put in a solid state drive and installed W-7 Ultimate and so far everything is good except for some driver issues. I can't find any especially the audii driver. And suggestions where I can find them? Thanks in advance!

Hi @John Bec  thank you for sharing update. Having a working Aurora mALX-R1 is good news. Even today, its specification is exceptional.

Microsoft is still willing to give free Windows 7 Ultimate update to Windows 10 (Pro x64 ?). Windows 10 should automatically update all drivers with their generic default, but guess that it may struggle with old hardware.

Searching internet for specific audio device driver is advocated, especially if the manufacturer's database does not have it. Device Manager should have found the audio device and installed a generic default driver. If the old audio device is a plug-in device and broken, perhaps getting a replacement is the fix to this problem.
